Stories almost never bring new people in, and that is not a failing: they are where an existing audience becomes a relationship, and where the people most likely to buy something are already paying attention. The number that matters is not views but how far through a sequence people get, because the drop between the first and last frame tells you where you lost them.

A poll asking followers to pick between two recipes for the weekend.
The usual mistake
Using stories only to repost feed posts. Stories are where people who already follow you can answer you.
