Follower growth
Follower growth is the change in your follower count over a period, and it is a net figure that hides the losses inside it.
What it does not tell you
A week showing plus fifty could be fifty gained and none lost, or two hundred gained and a hundred and fifty lost, and those two weeks call for opposite responses. It is also the metric most easily faked and the one least connected to money: an audience that grew fast and does not save anything is worth less than a smaller one that does. Treat it as a symptom rather than a goal.
